DCPD Assailant Captured in NY
On Wednesday, the assailant, 31-year-old Romain Miller was arrested in Westchester, New York, driving the car he hijacked.
ALBANY, Ga. – Monday afternoon, the Dougherty County Police Department was dispatched to 2806 North Jefferson Street in reference to a theft at gunpoint of a silver 2021 Chevrolet Trail Blazer.
The female victim, who was giving the offender a ride, was not harmed.
On Wednesday, the assailant, 31-year-old Romain Miller was arrested in Westchester, New York, driving the car he hijacked.
In his possession, he had the gun that he used during the carjacking, which was also stolen.
Extradition papers from New York to Georgia are underway and he will be transported back to Dougherty County for booking.
