Crisp County’s Farmer Appreciation
Crisp County Awards 'Marvin Lewis Farm Family of the Year'
CORDELE, GA – Crisp county came together last night to recognize and honor agriculture in this community.
Tommy Kimbrell presented the ‘Marvin Lewis Farm Family of the Year’ award.
“In 2017 we lost one of our 50-year masons, and that was Marvin Lewis. We wanted to come up with a way to honor his memory. And the brethren decided to have the ‘Marvin Lewis Farm Family Award.’ And, tonight, it is our honor to present this to Billy Jack Hausler Family,” said Kimbrell presenting the ward to the Billy Jack Hausler family.
Other awards presented included top producers for cotton, peanuts, pecans, and watermelons.
Complete coverage of Crisp county’s Farmer Appreciation airs this Sunday, March 19th at 12:30 pm on My 55 WSST-TV.
