Crisp County Young Farmers Summer Farm & Industry Tour set for Friday, June 13th
CORDELE, Ga. – Crisp county residents, here’s a chance to explore the industries and agriculture that keep our community thriving.
The Crisp County Young Farmers Summer Farm & Industry Tour is set for Friday, June 13th, running from 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
The free tour, sponsored by Planters First Bank, kicks off at Crisp County High School and includes stops at Helena Industries, Leger & Son, Southern Cuts Processing, and Herrington Farms.
From agritourism and farm-to-table operations to packing plants and industry innovations, it’s a hands-on look at what makes our region grow.
Lunch is included, and participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
Spots are limited. The registration deadline is this Friday, June 6th.
