Crisp Co. First Responders Appreciation Luncheon

CORDELE, Ga. – Moving to Crisp county, first responders received the recognition they deserve for the work they do for the community in the form of a free lunch.

Coroner Ricky Dawson Jr. organized a special day to show appreciation for first responders.

Firefighters, police, sheriffs, and medical workers from Cordele and Crisp county gathered to enjoy some barbecue.

Many felt it was a wonderful way to wrap up the week, as it not only gave back to those who serve, but also brought the community together.

Ricky Dawson Jr. has been Crisp County’s Coroner for three years, and he says, “It just feels great to serve Crisp county.”
