Craft Axe Throwing Mother’s Day Special in Albany

Moms throw for free

ALBANY, Ga. – That’s right I’m here at Craft Axe Throwing in Albany where this Sunday they are having an “Axe-cellent” Mother’s Day special, not just for mothers but the entire family.

“So on Mother’s Day, this Sunday coming up, we’re going to offer free moms, free grandmas. So that means they can come in for an hour, throw the axes for free, we’re going to be doing some free multiblades too. So, some ninja stars, throwing knifes, and different shapes and sizes for axes,” said Allison Cauley, Craft Axe Throwing.

Cauley says this is a great date night idea without kids, but is also wonderful for the entire family.

“We’ve got tons of activities for kids, we’ve got table games, bored games, we’ve even got the kiddy axe target,” said Cauley.

Furry friends are also welcome…

“We are pet friendly, as long as they’re okay with all the noises going on in here and are well socialized, pets are welcome. Most dogs are happy to be here instead of being left at home,” said Cauley.

Adult and kid friendly beverages are available and Cauley says customers are more than welcome to bring outside food in.

Cauley encourages all to come even if they are not interested in throwing axes, ninja stars, or knives… They can enjoy other fun, less sharp, activities at no cost.

“The way that we charge here is per person for the length of time you’re throwing the axes. Say you come for Mother’s Day and you wanna bring mom and grandma but grandma says this isn’t for me, spectators aren’t charged for anything, spectators are free,” said Cauley.

Overall, Cauley says their goal at axe throwing is to make sure every customer is having a fun, but safe time.

“So our goal for customer is to create memorable experiences that they want to tell their friends and family about. We make sure to take time with every guest that comes in to instruct them on how to do it safely, to make sure they have the hang of it before we step away and leave them to it,” said Cauley.

If you want to take a shot at hitting the bullseye, you can call 229-461-4090 to make a reservation or book an event or all walk-ins are welcome.

Craft Axe Throwing will have this special again on Wednesday, May 17th, from 4 pm to 9 pm… They are located at 2302 North Slappey Boulevard in Albany.
