Cordele receives T-Mobile Hometown Grant for historic building renovations for new home of Cultural Arts Center
CORDELE, Ga. – In other local developments, the city of Cordele has been awarded a $50,000 dollar T-Mobile Hometown Grant to finalize historic building renovations for the new home of the Culture Arts Center.
This center serves as a vital hub for community services, afterschool programs, and cultural arts festivals.
Cordele recently celebrated this achievement with a special project reveal and check presentation at the project site, located at 601 West 15th Avenue.
The newest 25 recipients of T-Mobile’s Hometown Grant intend to allocate the funds towards youth education programs, health and wellness initiatives, and public art installations. Since the initiative’s inception in 2021, other Georgia communities have also received grants totaling nearly $450,000 dollars.
