Cordele PD & Northern Heights Baptist to host coat drive for National Faith & Blue Weekend

CORDELE, Ga. – The Cordele Police Department, in partnership with the Northern Heights Baptist Church, is organizing a coat drive in celebration of National Faith & Blue Weekend.

National Faith & Blue Weekend aims to foster safer and more resilient communities by promoting interactions between law enforcement and local residents through faith-based organizations.

The Cordele Police Department and Northern Heights Baptist Church of Cordele are taking coats and winter wear of all shapes and sizes to distribute to community members and those in need.

Coats will be distributed tomorrow from 9 am to 12 noon at 1102 East 8th Avenue in Cordele and will be first come, first serve.
