Cordele Kiwanis Club proudly hosts Billy Williams Memorial Fishing Rodeo on Saturday

CORDELE, Ga. – Despite a drizzly start to the morning, the Cordele Kiwanis Club proudly hosted the Billy Williams Memorial Fishing Rodeo on Saturday.

Door prizes were generously distributed to all participants. David Wade, a board member of the Cordele Kiwanis Club, announced winners in various categories, including the biggest catch, the most fish caught, and a special prize for the participant who traveled the farthest for the event.

Beppe Rude, who journeyed from Decatur to compete, shared his wisdom on mastering the art of angling. William Moore, last year’s tournament champion for the biggest catch, returned to defend his title.

Congratulations to all the participants for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship! We’re already looking forward to next year’s tournament.
