Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce welcomes ‘Git In My Belly’ Restaurant
CORDELE, Ga. – And for those of you looking for something more savory…
The Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce warmly welcomes its newest member, ‘Git In My Belly’ Restaurant, with a ribbon cutting ceremony commemorating its grand opening.
Under the diligent leadership of Shalandra Walker and her dedicated team, Cordele community residents and leaders indulged in a diverse array of culinary delights, spanning from soul food, BBQ, breakfast, salads, desserts, and beyond!
Patrons were treated to a tantalizing variety of flavors destined to make a lasting impression on their plates.
“I guess it hasn’t sinked in yet. It has been a long time. It’s been a dream of mine. So, for it to just be official, it’s just like, it’s just the beginning of what it could be. So, the sky’s the limit from here. Hopefully we’ll have more than one and that’s what the goal is. So, we are here to help the community and as we grow, we can help other communities. We are watching y’all. So, if you have a passion, we’re going to pick somebody and help them start their LLC and show you the guidelines to get your business open. Let you know what you need to do and help you get on the ball,” said Shalandra Walker, owner, ‘Git In My Belly’ Restaurant.
“So, we want everybody to become independent. The goal is to do one child every month. With the help of the community, we can turn this whole thing around. We will be hiring for those of you that want to make some money. So, come help us so we can help the community,” said Walker.
‘Git In My Belly’ is open every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. If you stop by, tell them CBS 44 sent you!
