Cook Co. Sheriff’s Office searching for wanted Florida man in Cecil area
CECIL, Ga. – Sheriff Doug Hanks and the Cook County Sheriff’s Office are asking the community to be on the lookout for Michael J. Beach, w/m, 36 years of age. Beach may be in the area of Old Coffee Road in Cecil, Georgia around an area extending southwest from Exit 32 to Stalvey Road and the Lowndes County line.
The Sheriff’s Office responded to a suspicious vehicle call early this morning that led to the apprehension of three (3) individuals. Interviews from those arrests have led to the belief that Beach fled the scene on foot prior to law enforcement contact. Beach is wanted on outstanding warrants from the State of Florida for a domestic incident there. Beach may be wearing camouflage clothing and may be armed. Due to his wanted status, he is considered dangerous.
The public is asked to be vigilant and secure their vehicles and property in the area. If you see anyone matching the description of Beach you are asked to call 911.
