Community rallies to support the homeless through Soap For Hope project
ALBANY, Ga. – Now, let’s shift our focus to a foundation that’s been supporting the homeless for the past four years.
The Soap for Hope project is committed to aiding the homeless in Albany and the surrounding regions. Over time, the initiative has expanded its reach to support a broader range of individuals in need, including donations to various hospitals.
Through their care bags, the project provides essential hygiene products, clothing, and small items of entertainment, aiming to offer dignity and comfort to those facing hardships.
Founder Chris Ketchum emphasizes that many people are just one paycheck away from homelessness. He urges the community to contribute in any way possible to help make a difference.
Next Saturday, the Soap for Hope project will host a “Kiss the Goat” event, with all proceeds supporting their mission.
