Coffee Co. Sheriff’s Office locate missing disabled man

COFFEE COUNTY, Ga. (Feb. 20, 2026) — Authorities have confirmed that 26-year-old Shiquian Floyd, a black male, with black hair, and brown eyes who was reported missing earlier this week, has been located safe and is back home with his family.

The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) announced the update after issuing an urgent alert on February 19 requesting the public’s assistance in locating Floyd.

Floyd was last seen at approximately 6:30 a.m. in the Miller Road area. Law enforcement officials expressed heightened concern due to his disability and emphasized that his safety was a top priority.

Community members were urged to check doorbell cameras, security footage, and outbuildings for any possible clues regarding his whereabouts. Authorities have not released additional details about where Floyd was found.

The Sheriff’s Office thanked residents for their vigilance and willingness to assist during the search efforts.
