Closure of North Broadway Street railroad crossing for repairs

ALBANY, Ga. – On Thursday, May 2nd, Georgia & Florida Railway will close the North Broadway Street railroad crossing at 7 a.m. for repairs.

During this time, traffic will be redirected around the work zone using Bonnyview Avenue, Church Street, and East Broad Avenue. Detour signs will be prominently placed to assist drivers in navigating the area. It’s advised that trucks avoid the area as the repairs will also close the truck route around the Broad underpass.

The repair work is expected to last approximately one week or until completion.
