City of Thomasville announces Christmas holiday city services schedule
THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The City of Thomasville Administrative Offices will be closed Wednesday, December 24 and Thursday, December 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday.
Due to these upcoming holidays, some City services will be affected. Schedules and additional hours are as follows:
Utilities Response Center
Regular 24-hour operational schedule. For assistance, call 229-227-5499.
City Residential and Commercial Refuse
City of Thomasville Wednesday and Thursday residential and commercial refuse customers will receive services on Wednesday, December 24. Customers are encouraged to place containers curbside by 7:00 a.m. to avoid a lapse in service.
County Residential and Commercial Refuse
Thomas County Wednesday residential and commercial refuse customers will receive services as scheduled. Thursday residential and commercial refuse customers will receive services on Friday, December 26. Customers are encouraged to place containers curbside by 7:00 a.m. to avoid a lapse in service.
Landfill
The Landfill will run normal hours of operation on Wednesday, December 24 and will be closed on Thursday, December 25. Normal services will resume on Friday, December 26.
Country Oaks Golf Course
Country Oaks will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24 and will be closed on Thursday, December 25. Normal operating hours will resume on Friday, December 26 from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Tee-times are recommended. Schedule tee times online at CountryOaksGolfCourse.org or by calling 229-225-4333.
Municipal Airport
The Municipal Airport will close at noon Wednesday, December 24 and will be closed on Thursday, December 25. Normal operation hours will resume Friday, December 26.
