City of Cordele’s ‘Duck Hunt’ for Autism Awareness Stroll

CORDELE, Ga. – The Cordele Animal Shelter is asking for your help. 100 ducks have gone missing and they’ve made their way into the community. That’s right… One hundred wandering ducks are now loose in Cordele!

Some of the lucky ducks are hiding out in local hotspots like the Cordele Recreation Parlor, El Girasol, Pancho’s, Railhouse Tavern, the Sam Shortline Excursion Train, Tractor Supply, and Slammin’ Samis.

If you find one of the runaway ducks, snap a photo and share it on the Cordele Police Department or City of Cordele social media pages. Then, bring that duck to the Autism Stroll at the Perry Busbee Walking Track – right behind Crisp Regional Hospital – on Friday, April 26th, from 10 a.m. to Noon.

The first 12 ducks returned will receive a special gift from Chick-Fil-A or Dairy Queen!

So, keep your eyes peeled, check your favorite hangouts, and let’s help bring these ducks home. It’s a great way to support a good cause and have a little fun along the way.
