Central Baptist Church in Americus to host free Self-Defense Class

AMERICUS, Ga. – On the last Sunday of every month until October, the Central Baptist Church in Americus is hosting a free Self-Defense Class.

The class is open to third graders and up and is designed to teach essential techniques in a safe and supportive environment.

Blackbelt in Shotokan karate, Jimmy Speer, is teaching from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. inside the church’s Fellowship Hall.

Pizza will also be enjoyed after every class.

The church asks for you to sign up before every month’s class to help them prepare for food.
