CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: September 9, 2024

Breezy but drier. Unsettled wet pattern returns as stationary front retreats northward as a warm front out of Gulf of Mexico. Francine forecast to make landfall as a Category 2 hurricane along Louisiana coast on Wednesday PM. Moisture associated with Francine will move inland with far fringe impacts including heavy rainfall possible depending on the track of the remnant circulation. Rain chances are more scattered in nature this weekend.
