After a cold frontal passage brought rain to the area over the weekend, it has also ushered in a refreshing, less humid air mass. It’s feelin’ like fall y’all! Temperatures tonight will be the coolest in quite some time in the upper 50’s to lower 60’s. Slightly warmer daytime highs in the mid to upper 80’s around midweek. That’s followed by another surge of cooler air possibly on the backside of a coastal low pressure system that may develop near the U.S. SE coast over the western Atlantic by the end of the week. Brisk northeasterly winds creates breezy conditions on Friday. Autumn/Fall officially arrives with Autumnal Equinox at 2:50 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023.
