CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: November 20, 2023
Secondary severe weather season is here! Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Tuesday. Slight Risk (level 2/5) has been expanded eastward to include the western counties with a higher tornado threat. Marginal Risk (1/5) remains for rest of SWGA. Damaging wind gusts and localized flash flooding are also possible. Timing is from mid-morning through the afternoon. Make sure to brush up on those safety rules, have multiple ways to receive alerts including making sure your NOAA Weather Radio has fresh batteries and is in alert mode, and stay tuned to CBS 44 Weather Authority for updates! Rain showers will still be possible on Wednesday. Cloudy and cool Thanksgiving Day. More rain showers likely for Black Friday. Mostly cloudy and cool conditions for the weekend through Cyber Monday.
