CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: May 23, 2023
Rain ends, lower humidity on the way
There has been a lower coverage of showers and thunderstorms today around the area. The flood watch was trimmed to our southern counties and ends overnight. A few showers will be possible for first half of Wednesday, otherwise intervals of clouds and sunshine throughout the day with breezy northeasterly winds. Lower humidity is on the way. The low pressure system responsible for the heavy rainfall the past few days moves southeast and emerges off the east coast of Florida on Thursday. This system will have less of an impact for us but for those planning vacations on the east coast of Florida to the coast of North Carolina should pay attention to the weather. The below average temperatures holds along with less humid air through at least the beginning of the Memorial Day weekend.
