Brief break in high rain chances.

A brief break in the high rain chances Friday. Still, expect overcast skies after morning patchy fog which could be dense in some areas, so slow it down, use the low-beam headlights and allow for some extra time on that morning commute. Another cold front approaches on Saturday with a chance of strong to severe thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. The summer-like weather pattern is back for the first half of next week with afternoon scattered showers and thunderstorms. That will be followed by pleasant conditions with a break in the high humidity later next week.
