CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: March 7, 2025

Warm and wet this Spring Forward weekend.  Marginal Risk of heavy rainfall and strong thunderstorms late Saturday night into early Sunday afternoon.  Gusty winds, isolated flash flooding, and low chance of a brief, isolated tornado.  Rain showers linger and cool on Monday.  Forecast rainfall totals have increased with most over 1″ with up to 4″ near GA/FL state line.  Drier and warmer around 80 degrees mid-week next week.  Next rain chance on Thursday.  Even warmer by end of the week.

Reminder! Spring Forward on Sunday, March 9th as Daylight Saving Time begins! Evenings will have more daylight and mornings less.

Spring officially begins with Vernal Equinox on Thursday, March 20th, at 5:01 AM Eastern Time.
