CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: March 6, 2024

Patchy morning fog. Mild mornings. Warm afternoons. Rain and thunderstorms likely Friday night and especially on Saturday. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible with threats of damaging winds, isolated tornadoes, and heavy rainfall with potential flash flooding. 1″-3″ of rainfall but higher totals cannot be ruled out. River flooding may become a problem if we see significant rainfall. Don’t forget to “Spring Forward” this weekend as Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 10th at 2 a.m. Drier and much cooler end to weekend and early next week with a gradual moderation in temperatures.
