Soaker of a weekend followed by a sweltering heat wave next week. The “death ridge” noses its way into the SE U.S. Heat Index “feels like” may top 105-110. 108 is heat advisory criteria. Use caution, practice heat safety, stay hydrated, stay cool! Subtropical Storm Don continues to spin over the northern Atlantic and will remain a “fish storm” out-to-sea, but could possibly transition into a full Tropical Storm before it weakens in a few days.
