CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: January 6, 2025

Tumbling temperatures to below freezing with wind chills in upper 10s to lower 20s. Arctic chill holds. Hard freezes likely mid-week. A chilly rain to end the week into the weekend. Temperatures look to be too warm – generally above freezing when precipitation arrives – and timing of precipitation too offset – arriving later in the day Friday – for any accumulating wintry precipitation of any significance; however, we’ll need to watch Friday morning closely for a brief period of light freezing rain or drizzle if onset of precipitation is early enough. Below normal temperatures extend into next week.
