Use the low-beam headlights, allow for extra time on your commute and put extra space between you and vehicle in front of you. Warmest of the month cools to near average to end the week. Much colder air briefly returns with freezing temperatures this weekend to Christmas Eve. Christmas Day looks seasonal with a slight chance of rain showers.
