CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: August 10, 2023

Strong Storms Friday pm...

Not as hot today, but still humid with heat index numbers in the triple digits. More heat to go around tomorrow, followed by a round of strong thunderstorms Friday afternoon. Damaging winds, heavy downpours, & dangerous lightning will accompany any t’storms. Hotter temperatures over the weekend in the mid-upper 90’s with heat indices easily reaching or exceeding heat advisory 108 degrees. The heat relaxes some along with possibly a brief break in the high humidity by midweek next week.
