CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: April 6, 2023

One more unseasonably warm day on Good Friday with a chance of afternoon scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Saturday may be a complete washout with waves of rainfall moving through SWGA during the late morning into the evening. Much cooler air invades as winds shift out of the north on the backside of the stationary frontal boundary. Lows may dip into the upper 40’s with highs in the low-mid 60’s but some spots could stay in the upper 50’s. Lower rain chances Easter Sunday. Gradual warming trend next week with temperatures returning closer to seasonal norms. Rain chances return late next week with the possibility of a Gulf low pressure system developing, but confidence in that happening is low at this time.
