CBS 44 Reporter Brian Roche updates on road conditions in Albany

ALBANY, Ga. – The snow may be gone for the most part, but we’re still seeing effects and it’ s why highways to local streets like Ledo Road here on the borders of Dougherty and Lee county are still expected to be empty today.

Across our area, plenty of local emergency management agencies have asked people to continue to stay off the roads.

This has led to school districts across the area opting to stay closed.

And, it’s not just the schools, the dangerous conditions are keeping businesses like these in this plaza on Ledo from opening.

Unfortunately, across our area, many are stuck waiting and seeing if the roads will finally be safe on Friday to finally drive safely.
