Cause of death determined in death of 39-year-old Cordele woman
CORDELE, Ga. – We have learned the cause of death of a Cordele woman, 39-year-old Lanatara Jones, who’s body was discovered inside an abandoned residence at the intersection of West 20th Avenue and South 8th Street in Cordele on Wednesday.
Crisp County Deputy Coroner Willie Williams stated that the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office has determined Jones died as an accidental death.
Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) handled the investigation after the Cordele Police Department requested their assistance.
