Carry The Load Volunteers Walk to Honor Memorial Day in Tifton

TIFTON, Ga. – During May of every year, non-profit organization Carry The Load hosts a community event to bring back the true meaning of Memorial Day.

This year is no different, as they’re coming to Tifton on Sunday, May 18th.

Starting at 3:45 p.m., gather at ABAC’s Tift Hall to hear stories from veterans, first responders, and their families to reflect, connect, and show support for our nation’s heroes.

A three-mile walk around ABAC’s campus will begin at 4:30, and is expected to last around an hour.

The event ends with family-friendly activities, food, and a post-walk hangout.
