November 18, 2025
Matthew Crumley,

CAIRO, Ga. – Lace up your running shoes and get ready to make a difference. The Rotary Club of Cairo is hosting Pavement for a Purpose, a 5K Run and Walk through downtown Cairo on Saturday, November 22. The race begins at 8 a.m. at Davis Park on Third Avenue NE, with sign-in opening at 7 a.m.

The event raises funds for local scholarships, with every registration fee supporting students in the community. This annual race is a meaningful way to enjoy a morning outdoors while helping invest in future leaders.

Registration is $30 and closes Friday night, November 21, at 11:59 p.m. Participants are encouraged to sign up in advance to secure a spot. Online registration is available through RunSignUp at this link.

For additional race details or event updates, visit cairorotary.org or message the Rotary Club of Cairo on Facebook.
