Buy a Brick, Leave a Legacy campaign at Tift Regional Medical Center
The starting price to purchase a stone is $200.
TIFTON, Ga. – Usually if you want to pay your respects to someone or show remembrance you’d buy them flowers, but the Tift Regional Medical Center is changing that, by placing a stone with that person name or company in their Leave a Legacy program, which everyone that attends the hospital will be able to see.
“Well it adds a lot of warmth to the hospital, there’s a lot of employees, patients that come through and they sit on the benches, it gives them comfort as they’re here,” said Mandy Brooks, Executive Director of TRMC Foundation.
Instead of placing that special person name on a stone, you can also put a loved one or your companies name on…
“Trees that you could do as well, we have picnic tables, we have benches in our Memorial Chapel,” said Brooks.
But, why is it important to have an honorary item at Tift Regional Hospital?
“We’ve all been touched by so many great nurses and physicians and I’m sure at times you wanted to do something nice for them and this is a great way to do that,” said Brooks.
Everyone has a legacy to leave.
“It’s a way that you can always remember them, it’s a long time you’ll never forget them but it’s just a lasting gift,” said Brooks.
