Broxton man arrested and charged for cocaine possession

BROXTON, Ga. – In local developments, authorities in Coffee County say community tips led to a drug bust in the Giffordville area of Broxton.

After weeks of investigation, the Coffee County Drug Unit executed a search warrant on March 14 near Joe Ellis Road.

During the search, detectives found cocaine and arrested 59-year-old James Lee Gifford of Broxton for drug possession.

The sheriff’s office credits the community, for helping get illegal drugs off the streets.
