Boil Water Advisory issued for City of Dawson

The boil water advisory is in effect until further notice.

DAWSON, Ga. – The boil water advisory is in effect until further notice.

The City of Dawson had to shut a water main to repair a broken line, causing water pressure this part of the water system to drop to dangerously low levels.

In order to protect the public from a potential health hazard, all citizens that have experienced water outages and/or low water pressure are advised to “boil” all water prior to use for drinking, cooking, or preparing baby food.
