Better Together Health and Wellness to host Women’s Workshop: Hiking, Camping, Backpacking 101 in Americus

AMERICUS, Ga. – On Saturday, June 14th at 6 p.m., Better Together Health and Wellness is hosting a unique women’s workshop in Americus, and it’s all about the outdoors.

This hands-on class offers a beginner-friendly introduction to hiking, camping, and backpacking. Participants will learn essential skills like setting up a tent, hanging a food bag, starting a fire with flint and steel, filtering water safely, and cooking a simple meal with a backpacking stove.

It’s just $25 per person to attend, but it’s free for wellness walk members.

The event takes place at 119 Habitat Street in Americus.
