Berrien Co., City of Nashville recovers, city officials and linemen urge safety of residents

NASHVILLE, Ga. – We begin tonight with a look at the devastating impact from Hurricane Helene in Berrien county and the City of Nashville.

Numerous downed trees and power lines lay across Tift Highway as Georgia DOT and Berrien County Sheriff’s deputies worked their way to assess the damage.

Power crews did not arrive into the City of Nashville until early this morning, as safety remains top priority for both linemen and city officials.

The Berrien County Chamber of Commerce urges residents to check for updates on their social media and ask for patience as power is restored as quickly and safely as possible.
