Authorities Respond to Late Night Crisp County Structure Fire
CORDELE, GA – At 10:41 pm last night, Crisp County Emergency Services responded to a report of a structure fire in the 2100 block of South 10th Street.
The initial call reported that someone was still inside of the structure.
Cordele Fire arrived first to find heavy fire conditions in a mobile home.
Upon entry into the structure, followed by a quick knock down of the fire, they located the deceased victim, who is a male.
The body of the victim has been sent to the GBI Crime Lab for positive identification.
This incident is still under investigation by CCFR, CCSO, and the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
