Ashburn’s 29th Annual “The Greatest Show Ant” Fire Ant Festival this weekend

ASHBURN, Ga. – This weekend, Ashburn is crawling with fun at the 29th annual Fire Ant Festival.

The carnival is already in full swing, but the real show begins bright and early Saturday morning with a 5K and 1-mile fun run.

Activities include the fire ant calling contest, the infamous Manty Hose contest, and much more!

Then, get ready for a feast, with a sizzling BBQ cook off competition, local arts and crafts vendors, and the ultimate food challenges, from pizza and barbecue to a kids’ burger competition!

Plus, the fan-favorite pet parade, live entertainment, and so much more, all taking place at Heritage Park.
