Art Ball 2025 raises record $73,000 for Albany Museum of Art Educational Programming

ALBANY, Ga. – And, staying in the Good Life City, the Albany Museum of Art is celebrating a record amount of money raised for their educational programs.

The museum announced following their annual Art Ball they’ve raised a record $73,000 for art educational programs at the museum.

This breaks the previous record set in 2024 where the museum raised around $65,000 dollars.

Museum Communication Director, Jim Hendricks, tells us how this money will be put to use at the museum.

“That’s money that is going directly into programing and outreach into the community. It’s exposing some kids to art who might not otherwise be able to participate,” said Jim Henricks, Marketing & Communications Director, AMA.

Hendricks says that in the past, the Art Ball on average raised roughly $30,000 dollars a year.
