Arrest made in multiple robberies

ALBANY, Ga. – At approximately 11:56 am on Monday, Albany Police officers responded to a robbery report in the 400 block of Flint Avenue. A male victim reported his cellphone stolen by an unknown individual and provided a description of the suspect’s clothing.

Shortly after, the suspect, identified as 19-year-old Konterrias Jackson, was apprehended at the intersection of Alice Avenue and South Jefferson Street.

Further investigation revealed Jackson’s involvement in another robbery on May 24th, where he stole a juvenile’s cellphone and air pods after brandishing a firearm.

Jackson was charged with robbery and taken to the Dougherty County Jail, with additional charges pending.
