Application deadline for Albany Museum of Art Summer 2026 Juried Solo Exhibition is Thursday, January 29th
Artists working in Georgia and Alabama are eligible to apply for the Summer Solo Exhibition
ALBANY, Ga. – Artists across Georgia and Alabama have a major opportunity to showcase their work in 2026. The Albany Museum of Art is now accepting applications for a juried solo exhibition scheduled for Summer 2026, with a submission deadline of Thursday, January 29 at 5 p.m.
The open call is available to emerging and mid-career artists who are 18 years or older and currently based in Georgia or Alabama. Artists working in any medium are encouraged to apply.
One artist will be selected for a solo exhibition inside the museum’s McCormack Gallery, with exhibition dates running from May 21 through August 29, 2026. According to museum officials, the program is designed to give artists an opportunity to present their work to new audiences in a museum accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.
Applications will be reviewed by a blue-ribbon jury committee, and the selected artist will be notified by early March.
Artists must submit all required application materials by email to the Albany Museum of Art’s curatorial department at entries@albanymuseum.com. Late submissions will not be accepted.
