APD reporting scam calls involving law enforcement officers

ALBANY, Ga. – The Albany Police Department would like to inform the public about scam calls mentioning law enforcement officers. There’s been similar incidents where scammers have been using officers’ names to deceive citizens.

Please be aware and mindful to verify the authenticity of any call claiming to be from law enforcement. If you suspect any fraudulent activity, please contact us at 229-431-2100.
