APD investigating aggravated assault incident in 2300 block of Ashford Dr.
ALBANY, Ga. – The Albany Police Department is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred on December 5, 2025, in the 2300 block of Ashford Dr.
The victim reported that while walking in the area, he was approached by two unidentified Black males, who pointed a firearm at him and demanded his wallet. The suspects left when they discovered he did not have it. No injuries were reported.
The suspects left the scene in a tan/khaki colored sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima.
Residents in this area are asked to remain aware of their surroundings.
