APD: Arrests made in East Albany 200 block of Monarch Drive homicide case
ALBANY, Ga. – The Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau made several arrests in connection with the murder of 20-year-old Emonyei Quinn Ward, who was found fatally shot in the 200 block of Monarch Drive on Tuesday.
18-year-old Kentrell Robinson and 17-year-old Marion Sanders were apprehended and taken to the law enforcement center. During the course of the investigation, numerous interviews were conducted.
Following investigation, Robinson faces charges of murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and tampering with evidence.
Sanders faces charges similar charges of murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Both Robinson and Sanders were transported to the Dougherty County Jail.
