APD apprehends one suspect, another still at large in morning burglary
ALBANY, Ga. – Officers respond to the 2200th block of Westmoreland Drive and Wesley Avenue searching for a burglary suspect.
A Dougherty Police officer was allegedly flagged down in the area around 10:50 a.m., reporting to have seen suspects inside of an occupied home.
After further investigation, the officers located two suspects. One white female is in custody and officers are searching for another white male in the area.
The preliminary investigation revealed the two were possible squatters.
This incident occurred in the city limits and was turned over to the APD for further investigation.
