Andersonville National Historic Site to host Attention to Orders: A Family Field Guide Activity

ANDERSONVILLE, Ga. – If you’re looking for a fun and educational family outing this week, head to Andersonville National Historic Site for a special self-guided adventure.

The event runs daily from July 1st through July 6th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Families of all ages are invited to explore the historic prison site using a compass and activity book to complete interactive stations. As you discover stories of Andersonville’s history, you’ll also earn a special prize pack, including a small American flag, custom patches, a coin, and a drawstring bag.
