Americus Police searching for man in connection to July deadly shooting

AMERICUS, Ga. – Starting in Sumter County as the Americus Police Department has warrants out for the arrest of 28-year-old Deavion Lockhart, last known to be living over in Dublin.

Lockhart is facing charges of murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during a felony.

These charges are related to the death of 28-year-old Deandre Raashod Jones on July 27th, which occurred in Americus…
