Americus Police investigate aggravated assault incident

AMERICUS, Ga. – Americus Police Department are investigating an aggravated assault incident that occurred late Wednesday night.

At around 9 p.m., police responded to a shooting on Brookdale Drive. They found 19-year-old Kenyon Rasheed Williams with gunshot wounds. Officers provided first aid until EMS arrived and transported Williams to the hospital.
