American Red Cross to host community holiday blood drive in Cordele

CORDELE, Ga. – Community members looking for a meaningful way to give back this holiday season are invited to take part in an American Red Cross blood drive happening Tuesday, December 23, in Cordele.

The blood drive will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cordele Community Clubhouse, located at 108 15th Avenue East. Donors are encouraged to stop by and help support patients in need by giving the gift of life.

As a thank-you, everyone who donates blood during the drive will receive an exclusive long-sleeved American Red Cross T-shirt, while supplies last.

Red Cross officials say blood donations are especially critical during the holiday season, when donations often decline but the need for blood remains constant. Even a short appointment can make a life-saving difference for someone in need.
